Taking inventory of the scenery outside my window. What was once a hot day full of hamburgers and salty coated bathing suits proves the power of the changing seasons.

This is a dead give-away that Summer 2017 doesn’t live here anymore. Gone.

The powdery snow-covered deck up until a couple of weeks ago still showed signs of the season we all so enjoy. The warmth of the late summer sun shown so majestically and bright as if to say, “I am still here”.

But, this is our reality now. Beautiful though isn’t it?

Winter and snow took its’ precious time arriving here in Ottawa but only in the nick of time. 2 weeks before Christmas.

But it’s here to stay.

Our rooftop is snow-covered in preparation of Santa and his reindeer’s big arrival next week. So excited! We will have soft home baked cookies and cold milk waiting. Sometimes I can’t believe what he must eat all in one night. I would be fat and happy too eating and making children happy all over the world!!

What does your part of the world look like today? Are you ready for Christmas?

  • You really make it seem so easy with your presentation however I
to find this topic to be actually one thing that I feel
I would never understand. It kind of feels too complicated
and extremely broad for me. I’m taking a look ahead to your subsequent submit, I will attempt to get the dangle of it!
